Peter Miller

SLANG Worldwide Co-Founder and CEO Peter Miller is an experienced entrepreneur with successful exits and 10 years of executive experience. He and Billy Levy co-founded Mettrum Health Corp, a leading Canadian licensed producer that was acquired by Canopy Growth. An entrepreneur with a track record in agriculture, operations, tech, and clean energy, Peter is also the Chairman of the Canadian licensed producer Agripharm. Prior to joining the cannabis industry, Peter worked in corporate development at Esri Canada. SLANG Worldwide is a leading global cannabis consumer packaged goods company with a robust portfolio of renowned brands distributed across more than 2,600 stores in 11 US states.

Mr. Miller pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University.

William Stocks

William “Wim” Stocks has been a respected leader in interactive and online gaming since 1990. From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Stocks was Executive Vice President of the “new” Atari Inc. (a roll-up and amalgam of Hasbro Interactive, Infogrames Entertainment, SA, and GT Interactive), leading and managing one of the most broad-reaching interactive entertainment publishing networks in the world. In 2006, Mr. Stocks started an entrepreneurial online gaming publishing business named Elephant Entertainment Inc., assuming the role of President and COO. In March 2008, the leading games publisher THQ Inc. purchased Elephant and Mr. Stocks assumed the role of Executive Vice President and leader of the online gaming division and initiatives. In 2010, Mr. Stocks was recruited to join the executive management team of Virgin Gaming (now WG Ltd) as Executive Vice President. In this role, Mr. Stocks helped launch the company and platform in 2010, as well as developed strategic investor, technology, game publisher, retailer, and other brand partnerships. In April 2016, Mr. Stocks was named CEO of WG Ltd and Collegiate StarLeague, which was acquired by Cineplex Inc. in the Fall of 2015 (a leading movie theater operator having diversification into gaming, food/beverage, and other aligned entertainment and digital media businesses), and is presently leading the esports business, strategy, initiatives, and programs for the company.

Mr. Stocks currently serves as COO of the International eGames Committee & Board of Directors, is an Advisor to the Special Olympics International, is a Board Member of National Public Radio’s ‘Marketplace’ programming, and is also a Trustee and on the Board of Directors of the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. Mr. Stocks is also Chairman of the Board of HPPS Ltd (a restaurant and real-estate holding company based in Minneapolis), and has also served on the boards of Allina/Abbott Northwestern Hospital, the Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

Olaf van Tulder

Olaf van Tulder is the CEO of GHSC Trading BV, a world-renowned, cannabis-focused Dutch conglomerate. Olaf has over 25 years of experience in the global cannabis industry and has built an expertise developing and launching premier cannabis brands, including Green House Feeding, an award-winning plant nutrient company that is specifically designed for cannabis cultivation. In addition to Mr. van Tulder’s contributions to the cannabis industry, he serves as CEO of 2Connect Consultancy, a leading supply-chain management consulting firm.

Chris Driessen

Chris Driessen is the President of NCG, ACG and NSH, which collectively carry on business under the trademark “Organa Brands,” all while remaining separate businesses. Organa Brands develops and markets leading cannabis brands and is responsible for popularizing the 510 thread vaporizer pen with the launch of its O.penVape product line in 2012. Prior to his work with Organa Brands, Mr. Driessen held senior sales positions with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Konica Minolta Business Solutions.

Mr. Driessen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations that he completed at Texas Tech University and the University of North Texas.

Keith Stein

Keith Stein joined Dentons Canada LLP as Counsel in 2014 after serving as Counsel at Heenan Blaikie LLP from 2008 until February 2014. From 1994 to 2008, he was a senior executive with Magna International Inc. reporting to the Chairman, Frank Stronach and continued to act as a consultant reporting to the Executive Vice-Chairman until November 2010. Prior to becoming a consultant, Mr. Stein held the position of Senior Vice-President of Corporate Affairs at Magna. Before joining Magna, Mr. Stein was Senior Corporate Counsel for Toyota Canada and Toyota Credit Canada. Mr. Stein has been a board member of various publicly listed companies.

Mr. Stein is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1989.

Chris McElvany

Chris McElvany is Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Innovation at SLANG Worldwide. Previously, he served as Chief Technology Officer of Organa Brands and President of Organa Labs, the longest-licensed cannabis extraction facility in the United States. Mr. McElvany is responsible for leading research and development across the SLANG portfolio, creating innovative products and cutting-edge applications for the cannabis plant. With responsibilities spanning twelve unique jurisdictions, he offers an unparalleled level of insight into the complexities of multi-state regulatory guidelines and extraction compliance. An industry pioneer, Mr. McElvany has 25 years experience in large-scale agriculture and crop science, as well as 20 years of cannabis research experience.

Mr. McElvany holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M. He lives in Puerto Rico with his wife and their two dogs.
